Purim Purim starts this Thursday evening (February 25). Please come and celebrate together with us and hear the megillah reading. The readings of Megillat Esther are at the following times: Thursday, February 25: 6:00 PM
These readings will be accompanied by a Purim party. The daytime party (Friday) will be somewhat brief. Bring your noisemakers for the megillah reading! For additional details, please see the Purim Flyer. Our Shul reopening also regular Saturday services from coming Shabbat at 11 AM with Minyan will be INSIDE. But because of small size of the Shul and no ability to provide social distance 6ft in space the following rules will be enforced: Weekday Minchah We are back to doing our weekday Minchah minyanim in person. They are Monday through Thursday at 2 PM. Wearing masks are required. Please check in with Rabbi Sarytchev (718-613-9536) beforehand, so he can know (and can let you know) whether there will be enough people for a minyan. Weekly Torah Classes Please join our Torah class, which is now on Zoom, every Wednesday at 7:30 PM (Eastern Time, for those of you who are joining from out of town). COVID-19 Update Regarding COVID-19, New York City has been the safest place in the U.S. for the last six months. There are some places in the city that are under special restrictions; however, Ridgewood, where Beit Aharon is located, is in the Green, COVID-safe, zone. The are no restrictions. However, we require everyone to wear masks at Beit Aharon, in order to maintain an environment where everyone feels safe. |
